Friends of Chapeltown and High Green Parks

This site has been created by the Friends of Chapeltown and High Green Parks group, who work hard to make Chapeltown and Mortomley Parks nice places to be.  We are working closely with SCC Parks & Countryside Department to endeavour to get funding for new facilities both in Chapeltown Park and Mortomley Park.

Friends of Charlton Brook

This is a newly formed environmental group consisting of local people who aim to restore Charlton Brook and the dam to its former glory. Local folk will know the area very well as a pleasant walk between the Barrel Inn and the Bridge Inn.

Thorncliffe Bowling Club

The Club is located to the north of Sheffield in the village of High Green on Thorncliffe Recreation Ground. It has been established for over 50 years and has teams in a number of Sheffield leagues. Their membership ranges from age 14 to over 90 years and they welcome players of all ages and abilities to join their friendly club. For the latest news please visit the news section of the website.
