SCHOOL CHRISTMAS GRANT APPLICATION FORM

- This application form is for the use of Primary Schools within the Parish to apply for grants for their Christmas festivities

GARDEN PROJECT, HIGH GREEN

STOMP CLUB - The club were awarded a grant of up to £200 for craft and play items to be purchased on their behalf for the children at the Club. Below is a picture of the children when they came into the office to collect the purchases - all look very happy with them.

ERNEST FOX HOUSE SOCIAL CLUB

Cllr Graham Oxley the Chairman presented a cheque to a member of the Ernest Fox House Social Club in lieu of a grant which they were awarded in order that they could hold VE Day Celebrations for all their members

 

WHEELS IN MOTION

Wheels in Motion is a wheelchair dance group who have been in existence for about 3 years and meet regularly in High Green. In 2014 the Parish Council gave the group a grant which was used towards a trip to Holland for the Dutch Championships. They were delighted when they were awarded a gold medal. Here are some photographs taken at the event.

We wish the group every success for the future.

 

ANGRAM BANK - WHITE ROSE CARNIVAL - SEPTEMBER 2014

On Saturday 13th September the White Rose Carnival was held by Angram Bank TARA and the funding for this was aided by a grant from the Parish Council. Any funds raised by this event would go to the Help for Heroes charity. Here are some photographs taken on the day.

HIGH GREEN IN BLOOM 2013

The Parish Council gave a grant to High Green in Bloom in 2013 towards the provision of new planters for High Green. Below is a photo of some members of the group with one of the new planters.

WESTWOOD TRAINING - PACES

Westwood Training were awarded a grant towards the purchase of craft materials to enable 3 days of activities for children at Paces - the days were based on a theme - Day 1 - Seashore - Day 2 - Under the Sea and Day 3 - Pirates Party. As you can see from the photographs below it proved to be a great success and everyone enjoyed themselves.

ANGRAM BANK PARTY IN THE PARK

A grant was awarded from the Parish Council to assist Angram Bank TARA in their efforts to hold this event during the summer of 2013

 

WHITLEY HALL CRICKET CLUB 2010

In 2008, Ecclesfield Parish Council gave a grant of £8,000 to Whitley Hall Cricket Club towards the building costs of the new Clubhouse. Cllr Mrs D Fearnley was present at the digging of the first sod prior to the building work taking place. The Lord Mayor in 2010 Cllr Mr G Oxley and the Chairman of the Parish Council in 2010 Cllr Mr H House, along with other Councillors, were present at the opening of the new Clubhouse.
