Cllr Alan Hooper has been an Ecclesfield Parish Councillor representing the Grenoside Ward since 1999. He served as a Sheffield City Councillor for the West Ecclesfield Ward, from 2004 until 2011.
He has been a Grenoside resident for over 40 years and enjoys walking in the woodlands around Grenoside with his dog and family. He enjoys all sports and is an avid Sheffield United Supporter.
